Our First Painting Session

The Baby Book that Auntie Bel bought for Alex has a page in it for prints of his feet and hands, so Bel 'borrowed' some paint from school for us to use. Here is the evidence of the first painting session. Organised like a military operation, with baby wipes and sink filled with soapy water, we painted his feet to his bemusement! Unfortunately, we gave up when it came to the hands as Alex rarely unfurls his fists except when sleeping, and it seemed just too cruel to paint his hands when he was fast asleep! Somehow the sink doubled up as a bath for Alex and he seemed completely content. A very funny evening was had by all!

Alex is a month old!

Well, our gorgeous little man is now a month old! I have to say it feels like the longest month of my life - I guess because the learning curve is so huge as well as the lack of sleep. Anyway, here is our man playing in his baby gym. He loves it!
