Alex at his Grandma's House

Here are a few photos of Alex at his Grandma's. We stayed for a week while my flat was being decorated at the beginning of the school summer holidays. Alex refuses to build anything with his bricks at home, but you can see that he finds beer cans much more enjoyable to play with. His Grandad Mike would've been so proud! He also really enjoyed his paddling pool filled with balls rather than water.

Alex and Cora

Here are a couple of photos of Alex and Cora from last weekend when Cora came to play. Julie and I drank far too much wine and I don't even remember taking half of the photos! Ha ha! School holidays have started and I can't wait for 6 weeks of time spent with my boy (though one week has already annoyingly gone!). Alex is off to Portsmouth for a couple of days with his Daddy on Sunday and so I will get two nights of peace and quiet at home. I've had my flat decorated so am looking forward to rearranging things without tripping over plastic toys! Wey hey!

Alexander the Great!

Hello everyone!

I am now 15 months old (and three quarters!) and my Mummy got me a new pair of shoes at the weekend! [£28 sodding quid!!]. I helped Mummy in the garden on Sunday. I put stones in a bucket and played with sticks. That kept me amused for ages! I am going to get a sandpit for the summer holidays. That's very exciting! Now that tooth number 13 broke through this weekend, I might be able to play nicely with the sand rather than want to chew it. I am looking forward to Friday because it is Mummy's last day at work before the summer holidays and she is taking me to school with her! I am going to give out the dictionaries in Year 6's special assembly. Mummy is hoping I am a good boy. Last year, when I gave out the dictionaries, I cried so much in front of the 450 children that I had to be taken out!!

Love from Alex xxx
