Alexander's First Birthday!

Is my boy really a year old? Can't believe it! We took Alex to the farm on his actual birthday to see the lambs as his birthday is the first day of Spring and it seemed significant to see Spring lambs! However, he got scared and we had to leave! The last two photos are of him at Grandma's where he just loved bouncing on his new trampoline!
I found the day before his birthday, and the actual day, hugely emotional, which I wasn't really prepared for. I kept on looking at the clock and remembering exactly what was happening the previous year. Chris didn't help on the actual day by saying, "What time was Alex born again?"

I had to keep on wiping away a sneaky tear and swallow away the big lump that kept forming in my throat. This year has been the most amazing journey - not all of it good - but when I look at my boy, and see how happy and healthy he is, I am so so proud of myself for doing a brilliant job.

The Horniman Museum's Aquarium

Hello!

During half term, Chris and I took Munch to the aquarium at the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill. He was fascinated and tried to catch fish! I was thinking of buying him some fish for his first birthday which is coming up, but then realised that I would have to do all the cleaning out. Maybe next year! Anyway, the aquarium was a hit until we reached the cafe where he spectacularly vomited everywhere!

Hope you like the pictures.
